Edinburgh Motorcycle Training has 7 DVSA-qualified instructors, led by Colin, a Fellow of the Institute of Advanced Motorists with 45 years of motorcycling experience. Colin, Brian and Dylan teach Direct Access as well as CBT. Tania runs the office and is your first point of contact.

Colin

DAS, CBT and ERS Instructor

With 45 years of motorcycling experience and 8 years spent instructing, Colin leads the team of dedicated and professional motorcycle instructors. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Advanced Motorists that advocates safe and responsible riding.
Brian

DAS and CBT Instructor

Brian brings a wealth of knowledge to EMT, honed from years of track racing and many years as an instructor. His enthusiasm and knowledge shine through every course he delivers.
Dylan

DAS and CBT Instructor

Dylan's experience of motorcycling includes crossing Moroccan deserts and high Alpine routes. He delivers DAS and CBT training, and with his extensive knowledge, you are in safe hands.
Grant

CBT Instructor

Grant, also a Member of the Institute of Advanced Motorists, will take you on your first steps to becoming a motorcyclist. He is very knowledgeable and patient, and nothing will faze him.
Jethro

CBT Instructor

Jethro is known as a guru in all things motorcycling, from helmets to handlebars, wheels to weatherproofs and everything else motorcycle-related. He will guide you through your motorcycling journey.
Neil

CBT Instructor

With over 40 years of motorcycling experience, Neil brings extensive knowledge to EMT and its group of instructors. A member of the Institute of Advanced Motorists and a volunteer Blood Biker, he is a great guide for students completing the CBT or trying motorcycling for the first time on an ITM course.
Rob

CBT Instructor

Rob is our most recent addition to the team of instructors at EMT. Also a member of the Institute of Advanced Motorists, he brings a wealth of knowledge to his CBT and Introduction to Motorcycling courses.
Tania

Office Manager

Tania brings a wealth of experience of office administration in the travel and consumer electronics sectors, as well as twenty years running her own translation business. She is the first point of contact, either by telephone or email.
