What is the CBT course?
The CBT is a mandatory course for anyone who wishes to ride a motorcycle or moped on public roads, unless they already hold a full motorcycle licence. It is divided into five key modules and should be completed within one day.
A total of 12 hours is included in the price of the CBT, to allow an additional session if the student needs one to complete the course, as directed by the CBT instructor. Any subsequent training must be completed within 28 days of the original CBT course.
Training starts on our off-road yard at Straiton, which is free from traffic and obstacles, before you ride on local roads with your instructor in radio contact.
