Where do Loanhead and Straiton riders do their motorcycle training?
If you live in Loanhead, Straiton, Bilston or Roslin, we are on your doorstep. The yard is in the Clippens industrial estate just off the A701, with parking on site.
Being local means the roads you ride on during your CBT and DAS training are the same ones you will use afterwards: the A701, the A768 through Lasswade, and the Straiton junction on to the bypass.
How do I get to the training yard from Loanhead and Straiton?
From Loanhead and Straiton, take the A701 through Straiton. It is about 1.5 miles and takes about 5 minutes by car in normal traffic outside rush hour. The yard is Yard 15 in the Clippens industrial estate, opposite Straiton retail park, and there is parking on site.
