Where do Musselburgh riders do their motorcycle training?
Musselburgh sits at the east end of the bypass, so it is one junction-to-junction run to Straiton. The same is true from Wallyford, Whitecraig and Prestonpans.
A CBT and a 125cc is a practical option for the commute from Musselburgh into Edinburgh, and for students at Queen Margaret University looking for affordable transport.
How do I get to the training yard from Musselburgh?
From Musselburgh, take the A1 to Old Craighall, then the A720 bypass west to Straiton. It is about 7.5 miles and takes about 15 minutes by car in normal traffic outside rush hour. The yard is Yard 15 in the Clippens industrial estate, opposite Straiton retail park, and there is parking on site.
